How can I create a Tax Exempt Account for my online purchases?

This guide will walk you through the steps to create a Tax-Exempt Account for your online purchases.

Please note: If you'd like to set up a Tax-Exempt Account for in-store purchases, you’ll need to do so at your local Rural King store.

Steps to Create Your Tax-Exempt Account:

1. Visit Ruralking.com.

2. Click on Sign In/Register at the top right corner of the homepage.

3. Select "Register Now" and follow the on-screen instructions. Once completed, click "Complete Registration."

4. Double-check your information and make any necessary changes.

5. Click on My Account and then scroll down to "My Account Tools" and select "Tax Certificates." Here, you can either fill out or upload your tax exemption certificate to your account.

6. In the top right corner, click on "Add Exemption."

7. Click the arrow to open the drop-down menu, select your state, and click "Proceed."

8. Click "Save and Continue."

9. Select an Exemption Reason and click "Save and Continue."

10. You’ll have the option to fill out a certificate manually and sign it electronically, or you can upload a copy of your signed certificate.

11. Your status will show as Pending until your certificate is validated.
