Redeeming your Rural King Rewards VISA points is a mostly automated process, as points are converted into rewards and added directly to your loyalty account.
How Redemption Works
Automatic Conversion: For every 500 points you earn, a $5 reward is automatically posted to your Rural King Rewards account within 72 hours.
Thresholds: Rewards are issued in increments of $5 for every 500 points.
Expiry: Be sure to use your rewards quickly; they typically expire 60 days after they are issued.
Where to Use Your Rewards
You can use your earned rewards either in person or for online orders:
In-Store
Identify Yourself: At the register, provide the phone number associated with your account or show your rewards information.
Notify the Cashier: Before you pay, tell the cashier you want to use your rewards.
Choose the Amount: You can choose to use your full balance or just a partial amount. If you don't specify, the cashier may apply the entire available balance to your purchase.
Online
Sign In: Log into your account on the Rural King website.
Checkout: Proceed to your cart.
Apply Rewards: In the Payment Section during checkout, your available rewards will appear as an option to apply to your total.
Important Restrictions
Non-Cash Value: Rewards cannot be used to pay your credit card bill, redeemed for cash, or used to purchase gift cards.
Exclusions: Points and rewards generally cannot be used at third-party businesses located on Rural King property (like Country Critters) or on third-party websites like Amazon.
Returns: If you return an item bought with a reward, you typically only receive a refund for the amount paid out of pocket; the reward amount is usually not refunded to your points balance.
